Lime farmer Mark ‘Tarzan’ Herlaar sat with his son, Joel, pondering their future.

COVID-19 had stripped them of their usual lime sales, leaving them with around 150 tonnes of ripe, perfect fruit with nowhere to go.

The family have been making kombucha for more than 20 years so they took a chance on their much loved family recipe. Combining their own sustainably grown limes and water direct from the farm, Manifest Kombucha came bursting to life.

This raw, probiotic-packed tea continues to be craft brewed on their lime farm, perched high on the Great Dividing Range in South East QLD.
