Although Jasvinder and Preet both come from Rajasthan, a Northern State of India, famous for its rich culture, food and tourism, they did not meet and marry until moving to Australia in 2008.

Both lived in Brisbane before moving to Toowoomba in 2012. Jasvinder became a chef after finishing his studies in Hospitality while Preet studied Business Management and worked at Coles in a customer service role.

In 2013 they began working on an idea to introduce the people of Toowoomba to the deliciously unique taste of Northern Indian cuisine by opening up their own restaurant. Their idea was realised in August of 2014 when Ice ‘n’ Spice opened its doors in Northlands Shopping Centre. Preet is the face of Ice ‘n’ Spice, while Jasvinder can be found in the kitchen, busily preparing wonderful delights for all patrons to enjoy.
