Renowned as the Garden City of course it’s not surprising that there are around 150 parks in the Toowoomba Region.
They are all unique in their own way and we would love to showcase some of our favourites, starting with one of the best places to Picnic, Laurel Bank Park.
Close to the City with covered BBQ and seating area’s Laurel Bank park is also a scented garden, for the visually impaired.
With two croquet lawns, a water feature and garden beds bursting with colour Laurel Bank is simply breathtaking all year round, providing spectacular transformations as the seasons change in our beautiful city.
Lunch or a picnic?
Visit the park and then wander over the road to Urban Grounds Cafe for coffee or a delicious lunch or you can pre-order a mouth-watering Picnic Box to share from local café’s Urth Café or Milk and Honey and just sit back and enjoy the scenery!
