That is exactly what happens regularly at The Bakers Duck, Toowoomba’s iconic local bakery that has a growing number of fans, not only on the Darling Downs but right across South East Qld, with customers from Brisbane often taking the scenic drive up the range to stock up on their favourite pastries.
What began from humble origins in a shed at a Bellevue Street garage in inner city Toowoomba, is now a seven-day operation at the Baker’s Duck’s bespoke space in Campbell Street.
The Bakers Duck secret is their ever-changing seasonal menu, created in close collaboration with local suppliers and small scale farmers and crafted with love.
Each pastry is meticulously shaped by the skilled hands of their bakers, who invest their time in handcrafting food that is simply made to be savoured.
