We love the authenticity of the menu

Start with the popular Sofra Mezza Platter (for 2) a true feast to behold with so many tempting morsels it’s hard to know where to begin. From chargrilled haloumi, olives and mixed vegetable pickles (made in house) to creamy fetta and crispy little zucchini croquets and ground beef and onion pastries (çig börek). The flavour combinations are spot on! This platter is served with lightly toasted Turkish bread & yoghurt dipping sauces.

For main course we suggest one of their famous grills like Pirzola (baby lamb cutlets marinated with herbs and gently cooked over the char-grill), or a Gypsy Salad. This is a combination of fresh salad vegetables, spiced grilled chicken and haloumi with a piquant pomegranate dressing. Karides Guvec is a popular hot pot, a deliciously creamy casserole of prawns and mixed vegetables topped with cheese and oven baked in a traditional clay pot, this is served with warm Turkish pilav. Ahhh so good!

The desserts are extremely tempting, why not try Pasha’s Dessert Platter, a mixture of authentic Turkish sweet treats that includes lokum (rose flavoured Turkish delight) baklava, tulumba (fried crunchy dumplings w rose water syrup, served w double cream), pismaniye (Turkish fairy floss), kazandabi (velvety sweet vanilla custard) served with a sprinkling of pistachio and cinnamon
This dessert selection is perfectly balanced, surprisingly light, and delicious. Sofra is extremely popular, we recommend you book by phoning them on 0746 38 00 44
